1950  Fuji Keiki Co., Ltd. stopped its business, and Asahi Keiki Co., Ltd. was founded
1951 Moved to Shimomaruko, Ota-ku, Tokyo
Manufactured various electronic measuring instruments, oil-level indicators, and thermostats
1958 Developed and manufactured transistor radios
Developed prototypes of TVs and microwave ovens
1960 Started to operate the Fukushima Plant (radios and thermostats)
Delivered various noise measuring instruments and prototype snap-action thermostats
1963 Fukushima Plant started up as Fuji Onkyo Co., Ltd. (manufacturing radios integrally)
1971 Started to sell digital panelmeters and digital testers
Opened an office in Osaka
1972 Opened an office in Nagoya
1974 Established Date Seisakusho Co., Ltd. to manufacture thermostats integrally
1980 30th anniversary; monthly sales of thermostats exceeded ¥100 million
1989 Established Asahi Instrument Thailand (AIT), a joint-venture with a local company in Thailand, capitalized at 20 million bahts
1993 Accumulated production volume of digital panelmeters reached one million units
1995 45th anniversary; established Dalian Asahi Keiki Co., Ltd. in China
1996 Opened a liaison office in Singapore
1997 Obtained ISO 9001 certification
1998 Established Asahi Keiki Singapore Pte. Ltd.
Date Seisakusho Co., Ltd. was renamed Fukushima Asahi Keiki Co., Ltd.
1999 Acquired land and building in Yaguchi, Ota-ku, Tokyo and relocated the headquarters there
2000 50th anniversary; liquidated AIT to integrate overseas production in Dalian Asahi Keiki
2002 Liquidated Fuji Onkyo Co., Ltd. and Fukushima Asahi Keiki Co., Ltd. to form a new Fukushima Plant
2003 Dalian Asahi Keiki reached 3 million units in monthly production
2004 Established Asahi Keiki (Hong Kong) Limited
Obtained ISO14001 certification
2009 Relocated the headquarters to Shibaura, Minato-ku
2010 Transfered Electronic Measuring Instruments Division to Watanabe Electric Industry Co., Ltd.
