ISO 14001 Environmental Activities

One of our key priorities is the environment. We view our commitment to ISO environmental management as the first step toward environmentally friendly manufacturing. Asahi Keiki aims not merely to manufacture products, but to pursue environmentally conscious and sustainable manufacturing. From development and manufacturing to logistics, we consistently maintain initiatives that prioritize the environment.

Environmental Policy

With the goal of realizing a sustainable society, we deeply recognize the importance of environmental conservation and regard the preservation of the global environment as our top management priority. Leveraging the proven technologies and creativity we have cultivated over the years, we will meet our customers' needs and, through the collective efforts of all our employees, contribute to maintaining and improving an environment that is friendly to people, society, and the planet.
  1. We regard the Environmental Management System (ISO 14001:2015/Amd 1:2024) as a key component of our management policy. We promote environmental conservation activities (including those related to climate change), set environmental objectives and targets, and strive for continuous improvement.
  2. We will comply with environmental laws and regulations, as well as any requirements to which we have agreed.
    1. We will comply with laws, regulations, and ordinances, and actively engage in environmental protection initiatives on our own initiative.

  3. We aim to improve production efficiency and reduce our environmental impact.
    1. We will promote the reduction of energy consumption, with a focus on electricity (CO2 emissions reduction).
    2. To promote the effective use of resources, we will reduce waste generation and encourage efficient recycling.
    3. We will properly manage chemical substances to prevent environmental pollution.
  4. We are committed to promoting environmentally friendly manufacturing.
    1. To conserve resources, we promote the 3Rs—Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle—by extending product lifespans, reducing weight, and minimizing packaging materials.
    2. We will ensure strict compliance with regulations regarding the non-use of hazardous substances (such as RoHS and REACH) in our products.
  5. We will strengthen our communication with the local community and work together to address environmental issues.
  6. We will provide environmental training and post notices within the company for both our employees and those working on our behalf, ensuring that all employees are fully aware of our environmental policy and raising awareness of environmental conservation.
